Baobob was born in 1990 of a concept by Donatella Biagi and Luca Fusi: to create in Florence a store where uncompromising excellence in the quality of flowers and innovative and personalized floral compositions could be realized at the most convenient price for the client.
With the assistance of various floral designers, graduates of the Swiss Floristverband, and with the addition of a third partner in 2005 (Luca Struzzola), we feel confident, almost 25 years after our debut, that we have risen to this challenge.
Today Baobab is well-known in the region for its use of extra fine quality flowers, both from the Netherlands and local growers, offering clients creations from as little as 5 euros to compositions for the most formal occasions, providing the same care and originality for each composition.
Starting in September 2013, Baobab has begun its newest challenge: to open an internet store that maintains the same rapport of quality and cost for its clients that is already a hallmark of its physical store but with the convenience of being able to order and send floral gifts from the comfort of one's home or office (directly from our site) or from wherever one happens to be using the mobile version of the site or the apps available for all systems: Google Android, Apple iOS (iPhone and iPad).
